MASSAGE ENVY CLINICS HOST 3RD ANNUAL �MASSAGE FOR THE CURE� DAY ON SEPTEMBER 15 � SIGN-UPS GOING ON NOW FOR NATIONAL EVENT

The Woodlands, TX (August 28, 2009) � Massage for the Cure day is at Massage Envy for the third consecutive year.

Massage for the Cure takes place on Tuesday, September 15 at all twenty-seven Houston-area Massage Envy clinics including the Market Street location. And for the first time, Massage for the Cure will go national at more than 500 Massage Envy clinics around the country. The 14-hour event is an opportunity to relax with a therapeutic massage and also help fight breast cancer. The event benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

�The fundraising goal is $500,000 with more than 500 Massage Envy clinics across 40 states participating,� said Lance O�Pry, regional developer of Houston Massage Envy clinics.

�Just as before, every one of our Houston-area Massage Envy clinics will be fully staffed with licensed massage therapists,� said O�Pry. �Donations from the Houston area event will go to the Houston Komen affiliate for the needs of women in our community,� he said.

Here is what�s happening:

The fundraiser offers a one-hour therapeutic massage session for $35, to raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. From each massage session, $10 will be donated to the Komen Houston Affiliate to benefit Houston-area women for breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. Additional donations are welcome.

THE SQUEAKY WHEEL PROJECT � PRESENTS FINAL FOUR TEEN DATING VIOLENCE WORKSHOPS

You�re Living Proof, a 501 c 3 non-profit organization that assist survivors of domestic violence, will present a series of interactive workshops this summer to educate teens about the dynamics of dating violence.

The workshops are part of The Squeaky Wheel Project�, that helps teens understand the dynamics of healthy dating relationships and become a �squeaky wheel� about dating violence.

Squeaky Speaks, A Coloring & Activity Book for Children Surviving Domestic Violence, co-authored by Dr. Doris Forte�, Founder and CEO of You�re Living Proof and her daughter, Camryn Barganier, is a fundamental component of The Squeaky Wheel Project�.

The book tells the story about little girl named Squeaky who grew up in a family where there was domestic violence and how she broke her silence. The book includes a series of exercises called Stop Shops, and will be used as the textbook for the Teen Dating Violence workshops.

Evaluations - August 31st, September 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th at 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm and 12th 10:00 - 12:00 noon.

Practices will begin the week of September 21st.

Each week there will be a one hour practice and after games start October 10th they will have a game on each Saturday til November 14th with a Big Family Day Celebration.

On November 13th we will have an Awards Night Celebration in our Worship Center.

SUMMERTIME BEACH PARTY

What: Enjoy the sun and sand at The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston at our Summertime Beach Party. Sail-away in a sail boat drawing, experience Summertime Sketching, and sculpt your own Coastline Creatures! Experience beach creatures and animal artifacts with special guests from the Houston Zoo. Join an interactive performance with Nameless Sound - rhythm, singing, drumming, movement, and sound will be used to explore coordination, listening, creativity, individuality, and teamwork. And don�t miss the Family Flick � Surf�s Up at 2 p.m.

When: Target Free First Sunday takes place 1:00 p.m. � 5:00 p.m. on July 5, 2009; free admission for all throughout the day (the museum is open 12:15-7:00 p.m. Sundays)
